Mindful Tech: Setting Healthy Limits
We are living in a digitally enmeshed world no matter what our feelings may be about it. Tech acts as a primary medium for our experience of modern life. However, most of us have never been explicitly taught media literacy or digital citizenship and do not actively examine our relationship with tech use. Many parents feel helpless when it comes to limiting tech usage among their kiddos and teens. This intro class will discuss tech usage in its many forms and use mindfulness principles to examine our own tech usage. We will take a deep look into our beliefs about technology and lay out a plan to begin setting and achieving realistic goals for tech usage and reduction for you and your family.
