I have been working with the tarot since 2012. A large part of my formal educational training is in psychological assessment and projective assessment, theory and practice. Combining my training in projective assessment with the imagery and intuitive nature of the tarot is the most unique aspect to my practice and continues to separate me from other readers or practitioners.
The tarot, for me, is an invaluable tool as it allows the client and myself to co-create the session visually as well as clarify and refine any details or qualities of their situation that may be unclear. I love the sense of play the cards bring into a session. They create a space where wild and open questioning is possible. I want to work toward demystifying the tarot as a tool of dark magic and helping people from all backgrounds access the therapeutic truth and wisdom available within the tarot (and other) deck(s).
The tarot has helped many of my clients connect with their own spirituality and intuition enabling them to receive the messages they need to hear. Tarot readings may be given at critical moments in life, when one wants to connect with metaphysical energy, or simply at moments of pause and reflection. I offer other projective readings such as storytelling assessments, and drawing assessments (for children).
Heart Vision Coaching was born out of a desire to create meaningful engagement with individuals and groups in order to positively nurture the development and growth of those in the communities around me. Through the course of my study and clinical training, I developed a deep commitment to social justice, equity, and a holistic approach to individual and institutional health. My clinical approach is a synthesis of one-on-one expressive engagement, and utilization of intuitive reading in order to impact the lives of others. Many frameworks only work within the realm of disorder, I believe we each have infinite capacity for wellness, health, and growth despite disorder and trauma.
